When you invite the elements into your landscaping, you are allowing your soul to rejoice with the true identity of your human spirit. You feel undeniable happiness knowing you have realized your present accountability to nature, your feet touching the earth, your mind at ease, your ears sensing a faint trickle of water dripping over some rocks in the background. As the gentle wind breezes a flicker of hair across your face and you stroke it back behind your left ear you blink your eyes and see something new.

That’s right, a new pattern in the stonework your landscape team completed. Was it intentional to have it look so carefully placed or was it just dropped there randomly? How could something so beautiful be made to look so casual at the same time? Are these flagstone workers artists or are they just so in tune with themselves that they can chip every edge of that piece of stone just like a Michelangelo with a paint brush until every dot, every shred, every scratch and edge is just as it should be.
