It helps you feel good in both the short term as you get to enjoy the improved property, and the long term as you get to enjoy the exponential increase in property value. And considering you are at home enjoying the new space whenever and however you want, for as long as you want, you could really argue that this is a long term result as well. Especially when stuck at home facing long to-do lists, its only a matter of time before you either start pulling the weeds or hop online to find professional help.
