What is a change order?
When a Client wants to do something that takes the scope of work beyond the what the written agreement states, especially if its going to cost beyond what the agreed upon budget supports, we will advise you of that and give you an idea of the cost increase so you can decide whether you want to do the additional work or not. If you agree to the extra work at the anticipated additional cost, we will write up a change order to formalize the change and note by how much more we anticipate that extra work to require.
